We use our own innovative method called QTalk, created by Maurice Hazan, one of the most published foreign language authors in the world. Mr. Hazan has created hundreds of books and language games in over 10 languages with McGraw-Hill, EMC Publishing and Symtalk. Designed to stimulate the three key areas of the brain used for memory and language acquisition, the heart of QTalk is a series of images ("QCards") representing all parts of speech - subjects, verbs, objects, conjunctions, times of day, adjectives… the most common, everyday-life vocabulary. The QCards are used to teach vocabulary words individually and then placed side by side for instant communication in complete sentences. What makes QTalk unique is the series of images representing verbs that allow children as young as age 2 to recognize “action words.” From simple sentence interpretation we move on to scene interpretation, short stories and dialogue games, all increasing in complexity at an incredibly rapid pace without any of the intimidation of traditional language education techniques. The genius of QTalk is that it eliminates the translation process used in most language classrooms. QTalk, in fact, most closely resembles the organic process by which humans acquire language.
